Mature gobblers with 9- to 10-inch beards, weighing 17 to 21 pounds are common. Spurs routinely exceed one inch.

Hunters can do their own calling, or calling can be done by the outfitter and/or the guide. Blinds and decoys are provided at many calling locations. Hunters are to bring their own shotgun or bow as well as a Pennsylvania hunting license and spring gobbler tag.
Hunters arrive at Willowcreek Farm the night before the hunt for dinner at 6:00 p.m. Fully guided hunts start at daylight each day and extend until noon, weather permitting. One (1) bird only. 50% non-refundable deposit required when the hunt is booked.
